I hear tell that a certain bespectacled British gentleman will be getting Grimm in his new book this fall.  You heard right.  Philip Pullman, perhaps best known for his epic YA His Dark Materials trilogy, is adapting 50 of his fav Grimm’s fairytales.  But these stories aren’t just for kids.  Old Phil is bringing a distinctively adult flavor to them.  Look for such classics as Cinderella, Snow White, and Rapunzel, along with some not so recognizable titles filled with creepy evil strangeness.  The book release will mark the 200th anniversary of the original Grimm’s Bros Fairytales.  What better way to fill your children with terror before bedtime?  (Source: The Guardian)
